Anita Wasserburger Joins CCI Financial & Insurance Solutions as Senior Vice President

MARCH 17, 2011, SAN RAMON CA: Continuing to build their presence as one of the fastest growing and largest independent insurance brokerage consulting firms in the San Francisco Bay area, CCI Financial & Insurance Solutions announced that Anita Wasserburger will join their team as Senior Vice President reporting to Senior Management.

As industry leaders providing comprehensive insurance and financial solutions for small to mid size businesses, both domestically and globally, CCI strategically develops, implements, and manages benefits programs that deliver employee satisfaction, as well as maximize business’ return on investment on their employee benefits cost.

Wasserburger brings over 35 years of experience in account management in all aspects of employee benefits.  Most recently, Anita served as Director of Client Services and Senior Account Manager for Portal Insurance Agency, Inc. (now Ascension Insurance, Inc.) Anita handled the renewals of large for profit and nonprofit groups and handled escalated service and problematic issues, interacting with carriers and providers to resolve matters to customer satisfaction.

She began her career with Equitable of Iowa as a sales associate.  From Equitable, she went to Home Life Insurance and then to Berkshire Life where she gained experience in every aspect of the life insurance industry and obtained her license to sell life insurance.

Anita transitioned to Employee Benefits when she joined PacificCare/United Health Care as a National Account Manager and then Senior Account Manager of large accounts for Blue Shield of California.

Born and raised in San Francisco, Wasserburger earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from JFK University. As a life long learner, she continues to add to her industry knowledge through professional organizations’ continuing education offerings.  Anita’s interests are traveling, dancing, playing the piano, cooking and gardening.
